Manitoba Fine Art Nature Prints

Manitoba is my home province, and exploring its landscapes is part of my life throughout the year. In summer, I spend time hiking and storm chasing; in winter, I explore nature by snowmobile. That year-round connection shapes the photographs in this collection, from quiet moments beside a river to dramatic weather moving across the prairies.

Discover the rocky shores and forest-lined waterways of the Whiteshell, the rushing waters of Pisew Falls and Tulabi Falls, and open skies filled with sunsets, storms and northern lights. As a Winnipeg-based Métis photographer, I’m drawn to the changing light, seasons and details that make these places feel like home.

Choose a photograph that recalls a favourite lake, a cottage weekend, a winter outing or your own connection to Manitoba. My limited-edition fine art prints are personally inspected, signed and numbered, and include a certificate of authenticity. I produce Photo Rag and canvas prints in my Winnipeg studio; ChromaLuxe metal prints are produced through a Winnipeg professional print lab.

Choose a Manitoba photograph for your space

The best starting point is a photograph you want to spend time with. Think about the places you return to, the seasons you enjoy and the atmosphere you would like the artwork to bring into your room.

Find a Manitoba place you recognize

Compare the forest and water perspective in Pinawa Sunset with the photograph of the Pinawa Suspension Bridge. For a waterfall subject, start with Pisew Falls or Tulabi Falls (2025). These are photographic artworks of real places; each listing tells you more about the image and its available print options.

For prairie weather, compare Stormbound with Fire Behind the Storm. If your connection is to the Whiteshell’s waterways, explore Whispers of the Whiteshell and Fall Whiteshell River. Choose the photograph for the memory, atmosphere or details you want to live with.

Start with a place, season or feeling

For a quieter scene, explore the morning mist and autumn colour in Whispers of the Whiteshell. If you are drawn to changing weather and open farmland, Stormbound offers a very different view of Manitoba. Waterfalls, snowy landscapes, lake reflections and night skies provide other ways to connect with the province.

You can also browse by subject in the storm photography, sunset and sunrise, and northern lights and nightscape collections. Check each photograph’s story for its location; subject collections may also include work from other provinces.

Match the composition and size to your wall

Measure the available space and consider the furniture, doorways and other artwork around it. A horizontal photograph can work well above a sofa or sideboard, while a vertical composition may suit a narrower wall. The panorama collection offers wider compositions when that shape suits your space.

Check the individual artwork’s size options rather than assuming every photograph is available in every format. If you plan to frame a Photo Rag print, allow additional room for the frame and any matting. A larger print can make the photograph the focus of a room; a smaller piece can bring a personal connection to a desk, reading corner or group of artworks.

Compare Photo Rag, canvas and metal

  • Photo Rag: a cotton-based fine art paper with a soft gloss finish, supplied unframed so you can choose a frame that suits the photograph and your room.
  • Gallery-wrapped canvas: a textured satin finish stretched over wooden bars and supplied ready to hang, with the image continuing around the sides.
  • ChromaLuxe metal: a smooth, vibrant presentation on an aluminum panel, supplied ready to hang with a floating mount.

My Fine Art Print Guide explains materials, edition sizes, display options and care in more detail. Each artwork listing shows its available finishes, dimensions and current pricing.

Ordering and delivery

Choose a photograph, select its print size and material, then review your selected option in the cart. Shipping and applicable taxes are calculated during checkout. You can check out without creating an account.

Under my current purchase terms, Photo Rag prints are usually ready to ship or collect 3–5 business days after order details are confirmed; canvas prints usually take 5–10 business days. These preparation estimates exclude delivery time. For metal prints or a particular deadline, ask about the artwork and your delivery location before ordering.

Need help choosing?

If you are deciding between photographs or sizes, contact me about your print with the artwork names and the space you have in mind. A photograph of the wall and its measurements can help us compare the options. Custom framing can also be discussed before you order; it is an additional service rather than something included with every print.

For a smaller gift or a way to share a favourite scene, explore Manitoba nature postcards and photography gifts. Photo gifts are separate products and are not the signed, numbered limited-edition prints described above.
