The Story: A compelling perspective of the Pinawa Heritage Suspension Bridge, a 54-meter long, volunteer-built pedestrian bridge known locally as the “Labour of Love”. Completed in 1998, this bridge provides a unique vantage point over the Pinawa Channel, allowing visitors to appreciate the natural beauty of the area as part of the Trans Canada Trail. The image, captured in September 2009, perfectly frames the wooden and mesh structure leading into the lush, green forest on the other side. The channel below is a popular spot for kayaking and tubing in the summer, surrounded by the granite outcrops and mixed forests typical of the Canadian Shield. This photo freezes a breathtaking second of an iconic Canadian trail experience.

Printed in my Winnipeg studio on Palo Duro SoftGloss Rag 315, a 315 gsm, 100% cotton fine art paper with a subtle semi-gloss finish. This archival, acid-free paper is listed by Red River as FOGRA-certified to ISO 9706 for paper permanence. I use pigment inks in my Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4100 printer. Photo Rag prints are coated with Hahnemühle Protective Spray and are supplied unframed, with no mounting hardware. Choose your own frame to suit the photograph and your space. Conservation framing and protection from direct sunlight help preserve your print.

Printed in my Winnipeg studio on Palo Duro Satin Canvas, a 450 gsm canvas with a satin finish. Each canvas print is coated with Eco Print Shield, is gallery-wrapped over 1.5-inch wooden stretcher bars and is supplied ready to hang.
