2026 Christmas order dates

Give your gift time to arrive. These are recommended 2026 Christmas order dates, with preparation time and a holiday buffer included. Payment and all required details must be received by 11:59 p.m. Winnipeg time on the listed date. Day 1 is the next business day. We count Monday–Friday, excluding statutory holidays; this Christmas plan also leaves November 11 clear for supplier and postal closures.

Choose your destination tier and delivery method below. Flat-rate shipping may use postal or local courier delivery selected by the studio. Free calendar shipping uses Canada Post Lettermail. Local, regional and national zones depend on the origin and destination postal codes; please check your postal code with me if you are unsure. Shipping and local delivery: Flat-rate dates allow three business days of buffer before the underlying national, regional and local holiday send-by recommendations. The studio may choose postal or local courier delivery to fulfil the flat-rate option. The same local order dates apply whichever carrier the studio selects; no carrier choice is required from you. Free calendar Lettermail dates include five business days of buffer. Product preparation is included before the buffered dispatch dates. Arrival dates are estimates, not guarantees. Remote, northern and international destinations require an individual timing check; carrier disruptions or unavailable stock may affect timing.

Winnipeg pickup: Dates allow preparation to finish by December 21 and two business days to arrange collection by December 23. Pickup is by appointment; please confirm a time with me. In-stock items remain subject to availability. For mixed orders, use the earliest applicable date for the chosen delivery method; items shipping together wait until the complete order is ready.

Faster shipping: Available upgrades are paid by the customer and shorten transit only. Contact me before ordering after these dates with your product, options and postal code so I can check the available service and processing time.

Planning basis: 2026 holiday sending guidelines. Updated October 23, 2026. Shipping and local-delivery tiers use conservative postal timing, even when a local courier is selected. Processing times are estimates; contact me to confirm an order with a required arrival date.

Signed & Numbered Limited Editions

My fine art nature photographs are available in limited editions, with a separate edition limit for each size and print medium.

Every limited-edition print is personally inspected, signed and numbered, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity identifying the photograph and its edition number.

Once an edition sells out, no additional prints are produced in that particular size and medium.

Photo Rag Fine Art Prints

Photo Rag is a beautiful choice for photographs you plan to frame. Its soft gloss finish brings out rich colour, deep blacks and fine detail while retaining the feel of cotton-based fine art paper.

I print on Palo Duro SoftGloss Rag, a museum-grade, 100% cotton fine art paper that is acid-free, lignin-free and free of optical brightening agents. Paired with genuine Canon LUCIA PRO pigment inks, it produces rich colour, deep blacks and fine detail. I choose these materials for their quality and suitability for long-term display, creating artwork to enjoy for generations with proper framing and care.

Photo Rag prints are supplied unframed and carefully packaged flat or rolled, depending on their size. Custom framing is available at an additional cost.

Gallery Wrapped Satin Canvas

Canvas adds texture and depth to your photograph, with a gentle satin sheen that complements both vivid landscapes and softer scenes.

I print on Palo Duro Satin Canvas using genuine Canon LUCIA PRO pigment inks in my Winnipeg studio. Each canvas is personally inspected and stretched over 1.5-inch wooden stretcher bars, with the image continuing around the sides for a finished gallery wrapped look.

Display it without an outer frame, or choose custom framing at an additional cost.

ChromaLuxe Metal Prints

ChromaLuxe metal prints offer vivid colour, crisp detail and a smooth surface for a contemporary look.

Produced through a local professional print lab, the photograph is infused into a specially coated aluminum panel. Each print includes a floating mount that holds the artwork slightly away from the wall, ready to hang without an additional frame.

Compare nature-print sizes

See how five available sizes compare using Stormbound, my photograph of a Manitoba prairie storm made near Dunrea. The print outlines below use one shared scale: a larger outline represents a physically larger print. On smaller screens, scroll across the comparison to see every size.

Print size and framed size are different

The measurements above describe the print, not the outside of a frame. Photo Rag prints are supplied unframed. A 16 × 24-inch print with a 2-inch mat on every side occupies 20 × 28 inches before adding the frame moulding. Your finished outer dimensions depend on the mat and frame you choose; custom framing is additional. Canvas and metal use the ready-to-hang presentation described in the material sections above.

Measure your usable wall space, then mark out the proposed finished dimensions with paper and view them from your usual seat or doorway. Compare Stormbound’s sizes and finishes, browse Manitoba nature prints, or ask me about a size or framing option with the artwork name and wall measurements.

Choosing Your Artwork

Start with a photograph you enjoy, then consider where you’ll display it. A familiar place can make the choice personal: Manitoba landscapes may recall time in the Whiteshell, while Newfoundland’s coastlines and puffins or Alberta’s mountain scenery can connect with a memorable journey.

If you’re unsure, send me the name of the photograph you’re considering and a photograph of your wall. I can help you compare options and discuss custom framing before you order.

Measure the wall area and consider the furniture below it before choosing a size. Marking out the proposed dimensions with paper can help you judge the scale from your usual viewing position. Leave room for a frame if you choose Photo Rag; canvas and metal offer ready-to-hang alternatives as described above.

Match the composition to the space as well as the colour of the room. A wide panoramic photograph may suit a long wall, while a quieter lake scene can complement a reading corner. Look at the photograph itself: a dramatic prairie storm and a peaceful night sky create different moods even in the same room.

For a child’s room or nursery, start with a photograph your family enjoys—perhaps wildlife or a familiar Manitoba landscape—and plan its placement and framing as carefully as in any other room. This collection is original nature photography; photographs from your own family or newborn session are ordered through your session’s print options.

Available sizes and formats may vary with the photograph’s proportions. Check the individual artwork listing for its options and current pricing.

Choosing landscape photography by room and subject

A photograph should earn its place because you want to live with it. Use the room to narrow the format and scale, then choose the subject that feels personal. A Manitoba lake you have explored, the movement of a waterfall or the changing light on a prairie storm can matter more than matching every colour in the furniture.

Living room: one focal photograph or a connected pair?

Start from the seat where you spend time, not only the empty wall. A broad landscape gives your eye room to travel; a detailed waterfall invites a closer look. Compare Pisew Falls with Tulabi Falls for two Manitoba waterfall compositions, or explore panoramic photographs when the wall calls for a wider shape. Check the actual proportions and available sizes on each artwork page.

Mark the proposed finished size with paper and look from your usual viewing distance. Include the frame and mat for paper prints. For two photographs, choose a relationship—place, season, light or repeated shapes—rather than buying two pieces merely to fill a gap. Leave space between them and measure the complete arrangement.

Bedroom or reading corner: choose the mood you enjoy

A quieter composition, a familiar shoreline or softer light may suit a room where you want to unwind. Browse sunrise and sunset photographs or night skies and aurora, then look at the individual image: some skies are subtle, while others are vivid and dramatic. There is no rule that a bedroom must use muted art. Choose the photograph you want to see each day and consider reflections from windows and lamps.

For an Atlantic coastal subject, compare Sea Cave at Bottle Cove with Biscayan Cove. The Newfoundland print collection also includes Atlantic puffin photographs, with guidance to help you compare the subjects and available formats.

Choosing Manitoba artwork for an office or reception area

A photograph can bring a connection to Manitoba into a space where you spend much of your day. Start with a place or subject that means something to you, then compare the photograph’s shape, scale and finish with the wall. For a workplace, consider the view from the entrance, the reception seating and the desk—not only the view from directly in front of the artwork.

Choose a starting point for your space

  • A quieter river scene: Whispers of the Whiteshell combines autumn colour, morning mist and the reflective Whiteshell River. Consider it when you want a scene with details that reward a closer look.
  • A familiar Manitoba winter: Pinawa Sunset brings together snow, river and evening colour. It offers a different seasonal connection for someone who enjoys Manitoba beyond the summer months.
  • A dramatic prairie sky: Stormbound makes changing weather the subject. Compare its strong movement and contrast with the atmosphere you want in the room.

These are starting points rather than fixed sets. Browse the Manitoba print collection for other photographs, and check each artwork’s available sizes and finishes.

For other places and subjects, compare the Alberta and British Columbia collections. Choose the individual photograph for its mood, rather than assuming every image from one province feels the same.

Measure and finish your office display

Record the usable wall width and height, furniture dimensions and your usual viewing distance. Mark the proposed finished dimensions with paper before ordering. If you are considering several photographs, include the gaps and any frames or matting in the total measurement. Choose a relationship between the images—location, season, colour or repeated shapes—rather than assuming they must all have the same subject.

Consider light and presentation

Check the wall at different times of day for reflections from windows and overhead lights. Photo Rag is supplied unframed, so the frame, mat and glazing affect the final display. Gallery-wrapped canvas offers a textured presentation; ChromaLuxe metal has a smooth, vibrant gloss surface. Available options differ by artwork. Follow the care guidance and avoid direct sunlight, excessive moisture and heat.

Ask about a shortlist before ordering

Contact me about artwork for your office with the photograph names or links, wall measurements, number of pieces, preferred finish and approximate budget. A photograph of the wall, your delivery location and any intended deadline can help explain what you have in mind. I can discuss the available print options and custom framing before you order; framing is an additional service.

Current prices and available options appear on each product page. Compare the materials, editions and care guidance on this page, and review the purchase terms before ordering.

A child’s room: nature artwork or your own family story?

Original wildlife photography and Manitoba landscapes offer subjects a family can enjoy together. Read the photograph’s story and location; wildlife images in the wider shop can include subjects photographed outside Manitoba or in managed settings. If you want your own baby or family on the wall instead, see newborn and nursery display ideas and session print options. Nature artwork and private session prints use different ordering routes.

Narrow the choices: subject, orientation and finish

  • Choose a subject: a familiar place, water, wildlife, a storm or night sky. Start with two or three photographs you would enjoy even if you changed the room’s paint colour.
  • Check the orientation: compare the image’s horizontal, vertical or panoramic shape with the available wall. Do not assume every photograph is offered in every size.
  • Compare presentation: Photo Rag needs the framing you select; wrapped canvas adds texture; metal provides a smooth, floating presentation. The materials and pricing sections above explain the current options.
  • Check the room: consider viewing distance, reflections, direct sunlight, moisture and heat. Metal’s surface does not make it a reason to ignore the care guidance below.

Ready to choose your photograph?

Open an individual artwork to read its story and compare its available size, material and current price. The photographs shown in room illustrations are display examples, not an exact preview of every crop, frame or mounting option. Review the product choices before adding the selected artwork to your cart.

Start with Manitoba nature prints, browse all nature photographs or ask for help comparing a shortlist. For advice, send the artwork names, wall and furniture measurements, and the finish you are considering. I can discuss the options and custom framing before you place an order. Shipping is calculated by checkout where applicable; product-specific policies remain on the listing and in the purchase terms.

Caring for Your Print

Display your artwork away from direct sunlight, excessive moisture and sources of heat.

For Photo Rag prints, handle the paper by its edges and avoid touching the printed surface. Framing behind protective glazing helps protect the photograph from dust and handling.

Dust canvas gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid cleaning sprays and pressure on the canvas surface.

For metal prints, use a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

Review the purchase terms and conditions before ordering, or contact Jason with questions about a print.
