The Story: The Whiteshell River flows vigorously during the spring melt, carving its path through the ancient granite of the Canadian Shield. Captured at the height of this powerful season, the image utilizes a long exposure technique to transform the rushing water into a serene, ethereal silkiness that contrasts beautifully with the rugged, textured rocks. Above, the sunset paints the sky in soft, subtle pastels of pink and lavender, reflecting the tranquil beauty found in nature's powerful spring awakening.

Museum-Quality Photo Rag — Unframed

Printed in my Winnipeg studio on Palo Duro SoftGloss Rag 315, a 315 gsm, 100% cotton fine art paper with a subtle semi-gloss finish. This archival, acid-free paper is listed by Red River as FOGRA-certified to ISO 9706 for paper permanence. I use pigment inks in my Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4100 printer. Photo Rag prints are coated with Hahnemühle Protective Spray and are supplied unframed, with no mounting hardware. Choose your own frame to suit the photograph and your space. Conservation framing and protection from direct sunlight help preserve your print.

Gallery-Wrapped Canvas — Ready to Hang

Printed in my Winnipeg studio on Palo Duro Satin Canvas, a 450 gsm canvas with a satin finish. Each canvas print is coated with Eco Print Shield, is gallery-wrapped over 1.5-inch wooden stretcher bars and is supplied ready to hang.
