- Description
Print Name: Rainbow Falls Vertical
Captured: November 2022 | Location: Whiteshell Provincial Park, Manitoba, Canada
The Story: A powerful vertical scene capturing the beautiful, broad cascade where the Whiteshell River drops over the ancient, rugged granite of the Canadian Shield. Known as a favorite spot for photographers and anglers, the falls create a picturesque setting that varies with water levels, sometimes forming natural waterslides in the summer. In November, the scene transforms into a stunning winter landscape, with snow highlighting the rock formations and the river flowing through icy banks under a dramatic, colorful sky. Rainbow Falls is located in Treaty 3 territory. This image freezes a breathtaking second of raw, untamed Canadian nature, accessible via short trails or by road near the White Lake Resort area.
