The right location helps set the tone for your photographs. I photograph families throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba, with favourite locations including Assiniboine Forest, Birds Hill Provincial Park, Beaudry Provincial Park, and the Whiteshell.
Prefer something more urban, seasonal, or personal? We can choose a location that suits your family, or use my Winnipeg studio for milestone and seasonal sessions. During your planning consultation, I’ll help you choose a setting that works well for the season, your family, and the look you want to create.
Relaxed, Child-Led Family Sessions
You don’t need perfectly behaved children to have beautiful family photographs. My sessions are intentionally low-pressure and child-led. We’ll walk, play, explore, and take breaks when needed while I gently guide everyone into flattering light and natural interactions.
The result is a mix of classic family portraits and the unscripted expressions, laughter, and connections that make your family your own.

Extended Family Photography — $549
Up to 90 minutes
Extended family sessions are designed for multigenerational families or gatherings involving multiple households. The additional time allows us to photograph everyone together while also creating meaningful smaller combinations throughout the session.

First Birthday Cake Smash — $299
45-minute studio session
Celebrate the big one with a fun first-birthday session in my Winnipeg studio. We’ll start with clean portraits before bringing out the cake, giving you both timeless milestone photographs and all the wonderfully messy moments that follow.

Q: What should we wear for family photos?

Q: What if my children won’t sit still?
A: They don’t need to. Sessions are designed to be relaxed and child-led, with plenty of movement and play. I’ll guide your family throughout the session while allowing natural interactions to happen.
Q: How long is a family session?
A: Full family sessions are 60 minutes. Extended family sessions are up to 90 minutes. Seasonal Mini Sessions are also offered at selected times throughout the year.
Q: Where can we have our family photos taken?
