- Description
Print Name: Whiteshell Sunrise
Captured: February 2023 | Location: Whiteshell Provincial Park, Manitoba, Canada (Treaty 1 Territory)
The Story: A cold February morning in Whiteshell Provincial Park reveals a tranquil winter sunrise. The sky is ignited in a dramatic display of fiery orange and soft pink clouds, contrasting beautifully with the deep blue overhead. The snow-covered landscape of the Canadian Shield, with its rugged Boreal forest, is still quiet and pristine. This image captures the serene, crisp beauty of a Canadian winter morning, a moment of peaceful solitude as the world awakens.
Every print is personally inspected, and hand-signed by Métis artist Jason Lee.

Museum Grade Rag Paper (Fine Art Paper)
- Best for: Classic museum-quality collections and custom framing.
- Details: I use the Palo Duro Soft Gloss Rag from Red River Paper, A 315gsm, 100% cotton fiber paper with a subtle sheen that enhances the deep blacks and vibrant purples of the Aurora. It is archival, acid-free, and meets ISO 9706 standards for long-term conservation.
- Shipping: Shipped unframed in a rigid tube or flat-packed (8x12).
- Best for: A modern, fameless look with an artistic, tactile feel.
- Details: I use the Blanco Satin Canvas from Red River Paper, Heavyweight 350gsm canvas gallery-wrapped over a 1.5" wood frame. Finished with three coats of protective varnish for UV and moisture resistance.
- Ready to Hang: Arrives fully assembled and ready to adorn your wall.
- Best for: High-impact areas where clarity and color "pop" are the priorities.
- Details: Images are infused directly into aluminum panels for breathtaking depth and a glossy finish. These are scratch-resistant, waterproof, and can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner.
- Float Mount: Arrives with a hidden rear mount that makes the art appear to "levitate" 1/2" off the wall.
