Sunset over Canola

- Description
Print Name: Sunset over Canola
Captured: July 2023 | Location: Val Hala, Manitoba, Canada (Treaty 1 Territory)
The Story: After a day of chasing intense storms across the Interlake region, from the Narrows all the way to Beaver Creek, the day concluded with this serene moment. While the rumble of thunder from the receding supercell still echoed to the east, the focus shifted to the west. This photograph captures the warmth of the setting sun as it bathes a field of vibrant yellow canola in golden light. The image contrasts the intense energy of the day's storms with the tranquil beauty of a quiet prairie evening, highlighting the peaceful close of a dramatic weather day.
Every print is personally inspected, and hand-signed by Métis artist Jason Lee.
