Print Name: Stormy Horizon
Captured: July 2023 | Location: Pilot Mound, Manitoba, Canada (Treaty 1 Territory)
The Story: A truly immense storm front rolls across the flat Manitoba prairie near Pilot Mound. This photograph captures the raw, kinetic energy of an approaching supercell, with swirling, textured clouds dominating the sky. The juxtaposition of the powerful, dark weather system and the steadfast grain silos in the foreground speaks to the resilience of prairie life in the face of dramatic weather. The rich green of the field provides a stark, vivid contrast to the ominous sky, capturing a moment of intense natural drama unique to the heartland.
Every print is personally inspected, and hand-signed by Métis artist Jason Lee.
