The Story: A powerful scene from the iconic **Natural Bridge** in Yoho National Park, where the raw power of the **Kicking Horse River** has carved a magnificent natural arch through solid rock over thousands of years. Once a traditional waterfall, the rushing, vibrant turquoise glacial water found a path through fissures in the harder limestone band, eroding the softer rock beneath to create the stunning formation seen today. This natural phenomenon is caused by "rock flour" suspended in the water, which catches the light and creates this unbridled, magical color. Captured in September 2019, the image perfectly balances the rushing water with the autumn-kissed canyon walls and rich evergreen forests, offering a spectacular glimpse of raw, untamed Canadian wilderness.
