The Story: In September 2008, while traveling just west of the Hanson’s Creek crossing on Highway 44, I encountered this curious little red fox. He wasn't just passing by; he seemed to genuinely enjoy the spotlight. I pulled over to capture a few frames, but he was almost too friendly—he kept trotting closer and closer to investigate. Despite my telephoto lens, I found myself backing up multiple times just to keep him in focus! After a short, delightful session of posing, he watched me pack up the car before casually continuing his journey down the roadway.
